Insert the Blu-ray into the optical Blu-ray drive. Launch DumboFab Blu-ray Ripper for Mac. Click Load Disc button, then the program will automatically load all the contents on a Blu-ray disc to the program and list all the titles. You can also load BDMV folder, BD ISO, DVD disc, DVD ISO, and Video_TS folder into this program.

PS*: Generally, a Blu-ray or DVD contains many titles which may include main movie, trailers, or commercials. By default, Dumbofab Blu-ray Ripper will automatically select the longest title which usually contains the main movie. This can help you rip a Blu-ray or DVD without unnecessary titles.

Dumbofab Blu-ray Ripper for Mac is designed to convert any Blu-ray/DVD to any common 500+ video and audio formats for playback on various devices. Click the Profile bar, you can choose an output format from the format list or customize which formats to be shown on the list.

① "Common Video" and "HD/4K Video"

You'll find output (HD/4K) video formats that are commonly used right here.

② "3D Video"

You can create 3D movies with SBS, anaglyph and top-bottom effect from your 2D/3D Blu-ray and DVD discs.

③ "Multi-track Video"

You can remux or convert Blu-ray to MKV, MP4, MOV, AVI, etc. videos with multiple audio and subtitle tracks. Moreover, you can extract subtitles from BD/DVD as SRT files and extract PGS subtitle file(*.sup) from Blu-ray.

④ "Common Audio"

Extract background music from Blu-ray or DVD to MP3, M4A, AAC and more

⑤ "VR", "TVs/Players", "Apple"...

Rip Blu-ray/DVD for playback on iPhone, iPad, Android, smart TVs, game console, etc.

Simply choose the one you need among the above categories and then enter the main interface of the program. Before conversion, there are two optional things you can do:

Optional:
1. Advanced Settings:
To cover your higher needs, you can set all the video and audio parameters regarding the output video at the Advanced Settings, and deeply customize the output video with the built-in video editor.

2. Select Desired Audio and Subtitle Track:
Once the files are loaded, you can select one of audio or subtitle tracks you prefer from the corresponding drop-down Audio or Subtitle lists.

If there is no desired subtitle there, you can also click Add Subtitle to add external subtitles (*.srt or *.ass/*.ssa) to the movie as hard subtitles.

(Optional) Click the Folder icon to change output folder where you want to save converted movies.

Once everything completes, you can hit the Convert button on the lower-right corner to start ripping your Blu-ray or DVD.

You can Pause or Cancel the conversion. Also, you can choose shut down computer and open output folder when conversion completed.

Besides converting Blu-ray to digital, DumboFab Blu-ray Ripper can also help you make 1:1 ratio copy of your Blu-ray and DVD discs. There are 3 copy modes for you choice.

● Full Disc Mode: Copy the whole content of disc
By choosing this mode, you can makes 1:1 copy of original Blu-ray or DVD disc without quality loss with all audio streams, subtitle tracks, extras, etc.

● Title Mode: Copy the selected titles to video file
By choosing this mode, you can copy Blu-ray to a single M2TS file or backup DVD to a single VOB file. If you select the longest title, then you can copy Blu-ray and DVD main movie content and leave out extras, commentary, etc.

● ISO Mode: Backup the whole disc to ISO file
By choosing this mode, you can create an ISO image file from a DVD disc.

The "Trim" feature allows users to decide where to start and where to end when converting the selected clip, so that unwanted segments will be cut out after conversion.

To trim a video or movie, please switch to "Trim" tab in "Video Editor" Interface and follow any of the methods below:

1. Drag the control sliders to include the segment you want to remain.
2. Click the left square bracket to set start point, and click the right square bracket to set end point when previewing the video.
3. Input specific values to "Start" and "End" box.

The "Crop" facility enables users to get rid of the black edges and unwanted area of the image.

Switch to "Crop" tab, and follow the below methods to crop selected video:

A: Crop video by dragging and dropping the crop frame

Simply move your mouse cursor to drag and adjust the green frame to desired position.

B: Crop video by setting values

In the Crop settings, you can customize values in the box of "Left","Top" and "Crop Size" to make your crop decision.

DumboFab Blu-ray Ripper allow users to add text, image and video watermark to stamp your videos with your name or other indentifying marks.

Under Text Watermark tab, check Enable, and then you can create a text watermark to personalize your video. Type whatever text you want in the blank input field next to it. You can also adjust the font, transparency, vertical and horizontal position of your watermark.

Apply Effects: Under Effect tab, you can add special effects like Simple Gauss Blur, Flip Color, Invert, Aged Film to your source video. In Color Control section, you can correct color by adjusting brightness, contrast, and saturation. You can also tick off "Deinterlacing" to keep good image quality.

Adjust Volume: You can increase or decrease the movie volume by moving the slider.

There're flip horizontal and flip vertical, anticlockwise and clockwise 4 options for you to rotate the video.

Flip Horizontally: Click to flip the image horizontally.

Flip Vertical: Click to flip the image vertically.

Rotate conunter-clockwise: Click to rotate the image 90°towards left.

Rotate clockwise: Click to rotate the image 90°towards right.
